A short MV for "Never Ever", Tokyo Girls' Style's first single since quitting the idol scene in April 2015 has been released. The 19th ending theme for the anime Fairy Tail is their first release since declaring that they would be artists during their solo concert in Shibuya Public Hall on December 20, 2014. The single will be released on 24 June 2015.

The MV was released together with 5 videos featuring each member performing a short dance routine. "Never Ever" is described as a melancholic and passionate dance song. It is the first dance release in a while for the group.

Idols... WHAT?

Since making the transition to performing artists, the girls have been involved in many projects including performing at Ustream Asia's first live event, "Ustream Sound Gradation". Mei Shoji was cast in a film directed by up-and-coming director Ayaka Kato.

TGS' Yuri Nakae has teamed up with Cypress Ueno to form hip-hop unit SAUE TO NAKAE

Yuri Nakae has shed her good-girl image to form hip-hop unit SAUE TO NAKAE with Japanese rapper-DJ Cypress Ueno. They recently released their first mini album "Beer and Juice" on May 20, with leading track "SO.RE.NA" featuring lyrics by GENERATION GAP.

Is their new song a way of saying they will "Never Ever" be idols again?

If that is so, why are they still performing at idol festival @JAM in Shanghai 2015?
