Head on down to LIVE DAM's karaoke booth (Booth 11) at *SCAPE Playspace this weekend and sing your hearts out this weekend! If you're lucky, you may even catch some of the performing artists singing at the booth!

2. Take pictures with cute Japanese models

Moshi Moshi Nippon is a free-for-all festival aimed at promoting Japanese culture to the world and attracting tourists to Japan. There will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures with the many Japanese talents at the event. Photography is often prohibited at events in Japan so don't miss this rare chance to capture some special memories! After all, who doesn't like to meet cute girls and better yet, take pictures with them?

Harajuku superstar model-singers AMIAYA

The very pretty and adorable Anna Yano and irresistibly cute Hikari Shiina (Pikarin) will be at the MILPOM★ booth (Booth 9) this weekend as they are voice actresses for the anime and there will be photo sessions with them there! Find out more about the MILPOM anime below!

Harajuku twin sister models Ema and Eri Tanioku (Ema*Eri) and superstar model-singer pair AMIAYA will also be in attendance at Moshi Moshi Nippon. No details of any photo sessions with them have been released at present.

However, do take note that there will be a special photo booth at the MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON BOOTH (Booth 5) or at the special Photo Spot (Booth 10) where you may "take pictures with your favourite J-pop artists and models" according to the official description. We are expecting a photo session to be held there as the models are not affiliated with any of the other exhibitors.

A photo together with Yanagi Nagi? I wish!

There will also be a photo session with super popular Sanrio character Gudetama at the booth, if you are interested.

Picture with Gudetama, anyone?

3. Take pictures with cute Japanese idols

Nicamoq and Rinahamu make up BPM15Q

"New-age DJ Vocal Unit" BPM15Q, formed by idol Rinahamu, nicknamed the "princess of strawberry country (苺の国のお姫様)" and fashion model Nicamoq, will also be coming to Singapore. These cute girls can not only sing and dance well, but they can also DJ well too!

You'll definitely want a picture with BPM15Q

Get ready for the time of your life at the CHEERZ booth (Booth 6), where you may meet time, learn more about idols and possibly bring home some photos with them (as has been the case at previous CHEERZ events).

4. Learn about girl talk with MILPOM★

What is MILPOM★? It's a new original series of surreal short-form stop-motion doll animations by Bandai Namco Pictures, depicting the everyday lives of main character Milpom (voiced by Hikari Shiina) and her friends Silky (Ai Matsumoto) and Cacao (Anna Yano) in a surreal world of fashion-obsessed women where it is normal for everyone to be wearing animal head costumes.

The MILPOM★ pilot, released in March

A pilot episode was released earlier this March and the first episode will be streamed online on Sept 5th! You may watch it on-site at the festival on the day of release itself. Exclusive merchandise, which will be launched first in Singapore, will also be on sale at the MILPOM★ booth (Booth 9).

5. Catch live Japanese performances all day

Niconico utaite Matsushita will be performing at Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival

Performers from Japan will be taking to the stage all day, from live singing by Niconico singer (utaite) Matsushita, AMIAYA and Hikari Shiina, to dance routines by "Tokyo Part Rock Crew" PCF and DJ sets by BPM15Q at the Mini Stage at *SCAPE Playspace on Saturday. Gudetama will even be performing on stage at 5pm. We wonder what he/she has in store for us...

The mini stage schedule for *SCAPE Playspace on both days

The action will move over to the indoor Main Stage at *SCAPE Ground Theatre on Sunday, as Anna Yano will be performing on stage along with Singapore's very own Asia Anisong-Singer Audition winner USAGI. There will also be a Harajuku Fashion Show featuring Ema*Eri, AMIAYA, local blogger Xiaxue at 2.30pm and a Cosplay Fashion Showcase. CHEERZ will be having their very own special programme on stage too, most probably featuring BPM15Q again so don't miss the two amazing girls!

Doors open at 1.30pm for the Main Stage at *SCAPE Ground Theatre on Sunday

We are so excited for the stage performances on both days as it is a rare opportunity to see so many diverse talents from Japan performing on the same stage. There will be singers, models, DJs, idols and even a dance unit. Furthermore, this is your chance to get a glimpse of Matsushita, who seldom shows her face in public. Best of all, admission is free so go all out and immerse yourself in Japanese pop culture this weekend!

6. Drink miso soup

Do you like miso soup?

Do you like miso soup? Japan's leading miso soup paste producer (amazing, isn't it?) Marukome will be bringing a special selection of miso soup products to Singapore. Savour Japan's beloved centuries-old fermented soya bean paste with free tasting at the "marukome X MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON" "MISO KAWAII" booth (Booth 1)!

They are also the creators behind the Vocaloid 3 library, Mayu. Don't miss the great selection of music at their booth (Booth 3)! You may probably find Matsushita's CDs on sale and she might be doing signings there too!
